How many of you beautiful black people were in a relationship when you decided to have the surgery? How has the surgery impacted your marital or couple relationship?

Are you writing a research paper or something? 

No I am not writing a research paper. I am interested in learning about individual's experience. However, I have considered doing research in the future about something related to the topic of bariatric surgery. I am not sure what research needs to be done in this area....I have many people in my personal life who have had the surgery who have told me about their experiences, but, I wanted to find out more.....do you have any ideas about what research could be done?  

wow its too wierd that this would be posted ( I have been thinking about this) im 8 months out and have lost 50+ lbs my significant other is very happy but i am now intune with all HIS flaws is this normal? i am finding that the male attention is addictive. We have been together for 18 years and life has been life, but wow I never thought i would be going out with the girls more etc!

It's normal to get 'trade in' syndrome - but be careful - that new model might LOOK sporty, but that mofo takes premium gas only, gotta be serviced at the dealer ONLY, and after driving it for a few months, you realize the driver seat makes your butt numb!

I feel u Mack & I understand I have invested too much time to mess up now (relationship wise) but I just keep asking God to KEEP ME PURE!

Now, see - that's where that prayer would go left with me.......

cause God Keep me pure to ME says 'Please help me keep my cover story pure and flawless - I love dis man, Gawd, you KNOW I do......'
