High's, Low's and all in between - An update!
Hello BAFam! I hope everyone is well. It's been awhile since I've posted anything on the boards, but wanted to give an update. Overall, in the wls world, it has been an incredible journey, and I am so happy with my decision to have RNY and the results thus far. It's been a blessing all around. I'm proud to report that I've joined the 100 lb club!!.... I actually met this milestone nearly a month ago. Unfortunately, I"ve been battling a horrific bout of pneumonia the past week or so that derailed me from my life period! It's no joke! So I'm still home bound and recuperating trying to keep this fever down. Prior to that, I hit a stall in my weight loss and hung right at the 100 lb mark for about 3 weeks, but since the illness, I've dropped 4 lbs.
I'm nearly at goal and really pleased with the whole process. My bloodwork last month was excelllent, and I've gone from a size 24 to a 12 now, and couldn't be happier. Still working on rehab with the knees, but getting in as much exercise still through the pain as I can. My only conplaint still is the constant consipation, but I'm dealing with that any many ways as best I can.
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement along the way fam!!

Wow Janice! Thanks for sharing all this great news. You should be really proud of your accomplishments. I sure wish I knew something to help you with the constipation. Fiber and water...is all I can offer and yet I know you are doing it all....hang in there. Keep up the great work....I am so happy and proud for you.
