I'm 2yrs and a few month out and still can"t drink water like I used too.  I used to sit down at night and drink as much as 4-20 oz bottle of water in a few hour.  Now if I get a good 8oz in one day I'm luck it has to have something in it. Tea is about the only thing I can drink and don't feel yak-yak it and up hill battle to get the 8 oz a day.

P.S. I'm looking for the day I'll just pick-up a glass and get to drinking and not even realize it.

May not be where I want to be but I glad to be where I'm at.
Working at getting the rest of the way.

Alot of people have trouble in the beginning with water.  Try drinking it at room temp.  That may help getting it in.

Oh hell YES!  You are not alone.  Thirteen months out and I am having a tough water dat today.

I went from plain water pre op to extra sweet sf Hawiian punch or sf sweet tea etc.  Some days its a little lemon that works while others a little equal.  Still others warm beverages only like coffee, lemon water, and teas especially sweetened dersert teas.  Whatever gets the non caffinated liquids down is what I drink.
