A hole in my bowel ahhhhhhhh!

POKERCHIPS, I am so sorry to hear about your hernia and bowel issues. I am glad that they finally found it and took care of it.  Girl, I am going through something similar.  I have had my gallbladder out in 2006 and gastric bypass in 2008.  Girl, I have had several gallbladder attacks since.  Last week it lasted 2 hrs, diarria and vomiting.  I went to see my gastric bypass doctor and he sent me for tests.  Now he wants to do surgery and thinks I may have a hernia and spasms of the Biliary tree or something like that.  Also, I had a mammogram Tues that came back abnormal.  They found a lump in the left breast.  I am kinda scared about that. 

You are correct, pay close attention to your body's pain!! I know me and when things don't feel right.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and I am sure those 9 lbs are fluid and you probable lost a few more.

It sounds like you have a lot going on yourself.  Address one thing at a time and ask as many questions as needed so that you can make decisions that you are comfortable with.

It might not make you feel better right now but repeat mamograms are often needed.  I've had to repeat "abnormal" mamograms several times and they 2nd ones came out just fine.  I wish you all the best with resolving your health care issues.

Hey love, this is similar to what I am going through...bowel was looped a strange way for my surgery, which caused my symptoms...also have a small hernia they are keeping an eye on.

But please, please take care of yourself - the weight will come off - just take care of you!

Oh Lord that could have been so so so bad and I know you know that.   I am so happy that it turned out ok and that you didn't get crazy infections cause I personally know of someone who died rom this because her waste had been dumping into her body and it killed her, well the infection did.

I know you have to say a special thank you for this one.     This is so scary and I'm so happy your ok.

Thank You Lee.  You are right I could have been down for the count.  I think the saving grace is prior to surgery I was on clear liquids and no solid foods and most importantly I am not now plagued with infections!

Listen to your body !!!!! I let my pain go on so long that I ended up in the hospital being fed through a pic line and malnourished. Praise God, I didn't have a tear, obstruction or a sticture but I have spasms in my bowel that interferes with my desire to eat because it's painful. I'm glad you're okay pokerchips.
