OT: You just never know.........

This was too cool not to share.  It’s ‘pay it forward’ in action!

Don’t know if I’d posted about donating a week’s worth of child care at the facility my daughter goes to – but I did that a couple of weeks ago.  I’d gotten more $$ back from Uncle Sam than I expected and figured I’d take up the slack for someone else.  I remember my struggling and hustling days – not that it’s all behind me, but I don’t have to knock Peter smooth the **** out to get his change to pay Paul no more…..LOL!

Anyhoo – I told the staff that I only have two conditions - #1: They cannot tell anyone that I donated the money, nor do I need to know who received it and #2: They had to make the choice of who it should go to.  It’s a very tight knit group- they really care for the kids that are there and they really get to know the families – I knew they would know who most needed a break.

So – they got together and chose a lady – I don’t know who she is, I don’t need to know.  Well – I went in today to donate two more weeks (a goal I had already set in my budget) and the staff lady told me that they lady they gifted the first donation to was so happy and relieved – she went to church that week and her testimony was how God moved someone to give the money that helped her.  Guess what?  One of her church members showed up at the care center and also gifted her a week of care…… anonymously as well.  The staff lady told me that now the lady is able to pay ahead – and on time.  She’s been beaming every day since.

I had already planned to gift one more week when something else I am waiting on comes in – heck, now I’m more excited to give $$ than get it!  LOL.  It never occurred to me that somehow someone else would be moved – so you NEVER know who you touch, when you touch them – but it is, indeed, one of the coolest feelings in the world!

Aiight – back to my thug life ……… hehhehehehehe!

Oh Mack, this was beautiful.
Check you out, getting your angelic side on ~ Go Girl!
This motivates me to do something special for someone, even though I'm still struggling and robbing Peter to pay Paul

Wonderful read.

Awwww!!    I have always enjoyed seeing people's face when they receive an unexpected "gift".  I have had so many people in my life who have done such amazing things for me that I try whenever possible to pay it forward.

It is good to know that God is moving and working through you Mack.  Thanks for reminding us all that we have to do our part!!  Just never know the difference that we can make with one simple gesture.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

T, every time you testify, you give me chills girl!  Thank you for being a TRUE woman of God!!!!  What I don't think people understand is to give, to help others doesn't mean that you have to be in the mission field feeding orphans or digging wells.   It doesn't mean that you have to donate thousands of dollars or all your free time, it just means to give what you have, where you have it to give.    If you can do all of those things or you are lead by God to be a missionary...great.  Most of us can't do that, but we are ALL called to love one another and to help each other...right where we are.  Do what you can with what you have.

MiddleMan donates blankets, Donnie is a part of a mentor program for young men, others teach in there youth groups and still others are becoming powerful soul winners and my Gosh T, you have helped your neighbor and now this!!!   When we reach out and help each other..we Glorify God.  Awesome job T!!!

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

Thanks lady!  And my neighbor is doing better! Now that he's been getting insulin regularly - he's been brighter and sunny these days.
