Yo Mama is Sooo Fat

My  8 year old son poor thing got in a fight at school today b/c someone called his mama 'fat'. He was sooo upset. What is your experience? Do I give him a quick and dirty lesson in playing a good round of "the dozens" or just encourage him to not sweat it? He' s a lover, not a fighter, but he is all boy and this really pissed him off!!

I am sorry to hear and unfortunately after you lose weight kids are going to find another thing to say (just like adults do) so it is up to you to determine how you handle it, whatever is best for you and your child... If it was I, would probably go with the quick and dirty lesson in playing a good round of "the dirty dozens" but then again it is not that deep and I would not want my little brother to worry about it.

He came up with his own solution, so Im going to leave it alone. He told the kid that he loves the way his mommy looks and that he thinks I am pretty. He also told him he needed to worry about his own raggedy mama! lol

Wow, your son has more sense than many grown people. You've obviously done wonders raising him. Kudos to you and him for handling it like a "real" man!

My daughter (14) mentioned that it's nice to not have a not so big mother. Though she loves me, I still believe I was embarrassing to her.
