I was not ready to own a cat yet and he is forcing one on me....I love cats and dogs too as long as they can go home
If he's willing to be responsible for veterinary care, food, toys, grooming, vacuuming and cleaning the litter box it might be reasonable. That way you can just sit back enjoy the fun part and have a chance to bond with it.

Chynalyz, for the most part people on this this site are very supportive you have a few bad apples that love to stir trouble, I avoid those like the plague, good luck with your upcoming surgery, you are very beautiful by the way and I wish you nothing but the best in finding your prince charming
