My Tranfer Addiction

HI OH family,   How have you guys been??? It’s been a lonnnng time and I have really missed you!   I had a “wow" moment and have to share it with you guys… I went into DOTS and as usual I headed for the “plus size" section. I couldn’t find a thing. I was so upset. I couldn’t throw anything together. It was as if they took all the sheets in Dallas and put them on hangers! So, I asked the sales associate what was going on? Normally they have some pretty nice and trendy clothes. She gave me a confused look, then said I’m not really sure but everyone’s been complaining. I’m pretty sure they’ll so something about it soon. Then she paused and said, can I ask you a question? I said sure. Why are you in the “plus sized" section anyway? You should be up front. I then gave her a confused look. She said, I’m pretty sure you can find something up there. Well at first I was insulted and upset. I thought she was playing a nasty joke on me. But something in me said go for it, so I went up there picked up a size Large top and a 15/16 bottom, went in the dressing room and THEY FIT!!!!!!! OMG, I was almost in tears! I went back out there and hugged her. I couldn’t believe I could fit clothes in the “regular" section of the store. Since then I’ve been to Wet Seal, Body Central, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Paradise, Image, ect and I can fit everything I try on, tops, bottoms, spandex, jeans, shorts skirts ect. Needless to say my shopping has increased TREMENDOUSLY!!! I know it’s still very early on and I still have a long way to go but this accomplishment makes it all worth it!

I am now addicted to shopping...I can’t wait to see how good I feel when I reach goal! Now if I can only get rid of the fat clothes…. That’s another task in itself!

BTW, I wore my first pair of 4 inch heels all day on sunday and my feet didn't hurt!!!! This is AMAZING!!!

Congratulations! That is awesome! I became addicted to shopping early on... its still an addiction I struggle with! I had vets tell me early on to shop at thrift stores to save me $ as I drop sizes so quickly- glad I did that! Now, at goal, my old friend Macy's is calling me again...

Don't buy to much it will cost you.  Youwill go pass the size in a hurry. I still love shopping and haven't clean out the closet of all my over size clothes that my job this weekend.
