Gum or Free Candy ???

How many of you use gum and s/f candy in between meals to help stop eating caloric foods?  I think they help me sometimes especially if I drink with glass of water.  Your thoughts please.  Thanks in advance for all replies.

I allow myself sf hard candy, 4 pieces total 30 calories, each day.   More than that and I may have too many pieces.  I use sf gum as needed.  Half a stick at a time because I can go through a lot some days.  It can add up at 5 cal per piece the way I can go through it. 

Gum holds me over till next feeding and signals meal over after I eat.  I often need to get rid of the tastes of foods immediately after eating to stay sated.  Candy lets me have something with my coffee.  It keeps the trets away.

Oh this is interesting, because I'm a certified gumaholic!  And my posion of choice is bubble gum, and not sf!  I know....it's bad...Embarrassed....and it's my guilty pleasure!  Though my pace has hugely slowed since my procedure.  This last month though was a chewing frenzy!  This habit was formulated well before wls, and I do it mindlessly, but it has little to do with helping me stop eating.........Happy Friday!.......It's Friday..Gotta run......I need a Dubble Bubble fix!

 I love sf gum...the candy I stay away from b/c I dont know when to stop. Also OA is right about sf gum calories adding up..I mean really, is it too much to ask 4 a calorie free gum?
