I am to an extent...esp after going into the restroom @ my POE and hearing someone leave the stall and then exit without washing their hands but to some extent there are many things that you honestly are unable to avoid...even @ my home, I have 3 bathrooms and only use my personal one because my brother is 9 and boys are nasty....I do keep hand sanitizer @ my desk and in my purse.

So Blessed I SO agree with on this on! I DO NOT TOUCH NOTHING IN PUBLIC! I do not touch toilet seats...when I go to a public restroom...I use those sanitary papers...if they do not have them I make my own out of toilet paper...lol..my a@@ never touch the toilet seat...when I use the ATM machine...I use a piece of paper I NEVER touch that either...if I am forced to touch things in public..as SOON AS i GET HOME I wash my hands...so I guess you can call me a germophobe too...it has been working for me., I RARELY get sick the vomit or catch flu or viruses...but hey I wonder if I SHOULD SOMETIMES to get rid of these 10 pounds I want to lose quickly

would want a new laptop whether or not the previous owner had AIDS or not but if you feel how you feel you should be "scared" to use public restrooms, eat out @ restaurants, go to your drs. office, etc.Public restroom seat is covered with a liner or draped with TP if one is not available. TP is used to lock/unlock the stall latch. Paper towel is used to turn on/off the water in the sink. Paper towel is used to open the door if it opens inward.
I have very specific rituals that I follow when I eat out. First I check out the restroom layout to make sure that any employee using it does not have to pull a door handle to exit and re-contaminate their hands after washing them. Bathroom door should open OUTward or I'm not eating there. I don't touch any condiment container on the table unless I've finished eating all finger food.
I HATE HATE HATE having to touch things like elevator buttons, door handles or ATM/Debit Card keypads.
We keep disinfectant wipes in the car and there are quart-sized bottles of Germ-X in my office, in my kitchen and in the bathroom. I do not touch my face or food until my hands are washed or cleaned with alcohol. We teach this to the kids too.
Same as you....the girls are trained. I had my oldest trained so well....I caught her lining our toilet at home one time...lol! I keep a clean home but it was so funny to me....poor thing...made her a young germophobe.
It is illegal to have unprotected sex with a person and not disclose that you are HIV+ or have AIDS. Unless that co-worker was sleeping around with no condom on and was truly infected, he did nothing wrong. In the US, he does not have to disclose that information to his employers... There is no law that states one has to tell their employer they have herpes, hepatitis-c or even getting WLS... Your medical information is between you and your doctor. Unless one is seeking to be accomadated for their disability thru the Americans Disability Act, No one needs to know what your ailment is at work.
