OT: The Africa they never tell you about
A friend sent me this link and it made me recall a post last month by a caucasian OH member who commented Haitian children shouldn't be adopted by African families because Africa was third world country. (mind you she said country not continent which was a big red flag to her ignorance) I thought I'd share this with you all. It really goes to show the ignorance some of us Americans still have about the beautiful continent of Africa. There definitely aren't any Tarzan sightings in these shots.

Makes me want to book a ticket to one of those resorts in the Seychelles or Mombasa, Kenya. Hope you enjoy.
Share this with your children, so we can educate them about all the places in African countries, not just the jungles, and savannahs, and the shanty towns. Can you imagine what a foreigner's impression of USA would be if all they saw was the projects, and the remote rural shacks with no plumbing some people live in? Really makes you put things in perspective.
