Skin changes?

Hi all:

Has anyone experienced skin condition changes after their procedure? Good or bad? I know a lady at my job who had the surgery (not sure which one) who has really pale/thin/blotchy skin now. It's a little haunting.

It may not be wls related at all. Blotchy skin has many possible causes buy I have yet to read about it as a common disorder from wls alone. Of course I'm assuming she is working her program and taking all supplements.

My skin is not bad, but after wls I have had some pimples that I have to keep at bay. Never had pimples in my life...but for these 74 pounds Iv'e lost so far....I'll take pimples any day!!! lol

since my surgery, I  have had alot of acne...went to a dermatologist and she put me on a water pill and topical skin cream and my face is glowing...no disclooration, smooth...no blotches...see a dermatologist...peace and love...

Pre op I was insulin resistant and had Acanthosis Nigricans on neck, underarms, elbows and anywhere else there were skin creases.   It has completely resolved.

I've always had great skin all of my life buty skin has an extra glow to it now since my procedure!  I attribute it to the increase in my water intake, vitamins and cleansing my body of unhealthy foods.  That's the second thing I've been complimented on besides the weight loss!
