Is it me or is anybody else over this whole thing?

Hey hey hey BAF!!

Can I just talk for a minute? So it's been over a year since I had my big cut and all my organs rearranged...yada yada yada. I'm so ready to fast forward 5 years from now when nobody remembers when I was a card carrying member of the Lane Bryant club. At first I lavished all the compliments on my weight loss, but now......not so much. It's so old now. It sounds crazy, prob newbies are scratchin thier head like WTF lol. But I actually can't stand when I see someone that hasn't seen me in over a year, and here comes the 5 min small talk convo about my weight. Let's not start on how I cut my hair off too. So now I'm almost a hundred pounds smaller and have no hair LOL  So of course, something has to have gone wrong, I'm working through something, about to leave my husband, trying to reinvent myself, got through a depression, changed teams and tryin on the role of soft stud...and so on. I'm going to a party this weekend where most of the people have not seen me and I really wanna type up a lil note and pin it to my shirt....

"Yes, I've lost weight.
Yup almost a hundred pounds
Yes me and Piggy are still together
No, I don't miss my hair"

I'd feel a whole lot better.

Yeah, that mess is old, but my weight loss make me barely recognizable  and for *me* that's a good thing. It's a welcome...almost like going into witness protection and starting off with a clean slate.

I don't know how I get crack head....a 10/12 is a far cry from Rock city! I need to adopt some of your attitude before I start rolling my eyes and I get called *****y instead of cracky!

You calling me teeny tiny made me think of another issue that I have...

Most folks think I wanted to achieve a 0/2 size because Mike is white. This comes up often and irritates the mess out of me. The weight that came off after my initial goal (145lbs) was due to my gall bladder surgery complications. I'm happy at this size but shopping is NOT easy. Most stores only carry 0/2s in the "young arse hoochie mama" section....aaaarrrgghhh.

Okay, let me stop...I'm venting again. 

Waaay before you got jungle fever you had crackie goals dancing in that big head of yours. I remember our preop chats! I told ya azz I was gonna call you skin and bones.

LOL!!!!  Funny thing is i get from my peeps that I ain't change - that they didn't ever really 'see' me as big.......

 The last time I went home my niece and nephew (that grew up with me in my Mama's house) walked right by me and didn't recognize me.

You don't miss your hair but do you miss your ta-tas...LOL!!!  It is great to see you on the board Shani.  I like the idea of pinning a a note to your shirt.  However, you had better start practicing your breathing now because you will be bombarded this weekend!!!!
