plastic surgeon visit

Well I have my visit with PS and he wants to work on my tummy first. The other body parts must wait. My insurance will pay for my tummy but the cheap way, which is a cut across from hip to hip. He said I need the cut from hip to hip and mid chest to as fas below as you can go. He said there is a lot there for my tummy and to do it right I should get the big T-Cut. taking this route will cost me and addtional 2,000 and I am happy with that. Take care.

Hey there!  I had an anchor cut TT (that's another term for the midline incision method) back in May last year- LOVE IT.

the hip to hip isn't the 'cheap' way - it's the standard and most people only need work that the hip to hip incision well addresses.  It's folk who have substantial skin and fat above the belly button and who don't want to do a full lower body lift that the anchor cut works better for.

Sounds like your surgeon is focused on getting you good results - so invest the money in yourself - it's WELL worth it!

Thanks I needed that boost of confidence. I already have a scar from my neck to my belly button. They tell me it should just be an overnight hospital stay. How long were down? I have a 4yr old to keep up with and a sick husband. My son's girlfriend has offered to come and stay to help me.  

whew chile!  I had a breast lift done at the same time - I was out of the swing of things for a good 3 weeks.

I wanted him to fix my flat screens and bat capes too but he said my tummy is going to be a lot and he will only do my tummy and then I come back for the other.  

My stomach ended up being done in 2 stages (not my choice - long story)

I believe I wouldn't have been able to have both if I tried in my original state - so sounds like he's dead on

How did you go about having your ins pay for this? I have asked my dr to give me a referral to see a P/S but he basically told me in other words "I'll send u when u have the cash to pay for it" lol.
