Whatup fam????

Whew - interesting night out at the club last night!  Lace front wigs have revolutionized the 'look' of bytches these days!!!  But - that even hairline thing makes em easy to spot a mile away........LOL

Anyhoo - I have no idea what I want to cook today.  I am about to clear the fridge out from old leftovers and I don't have a taste for anything in particular.  I'm about to go to the low carb recipe website and see if I can get some inspiration.

What are you cooking?????

Good Morning Lady!

I purchased my first lace front last Friday. I researched Salty Pickle's hair bag method some more and decided to take the plunge. I'm also trying out the Monistat hair mix for additional growth as well. I'm ready to go natural and during the transistion and sweaty hair bag nights, I need the wig to keep me looking decent during the day. I opted for the wig that doesn't require adhesives so I take it off every night.

Now on to dinner. We are having baked pork chops and green bean casserole. The carbs in the casserole are high but I will eat it in extreme moderation.

Have a great day!

Hey Trina & Good Morning Fam!
Glad you had fun last night, I went out myself and had a ball - the dj got real stupid with it and I swear I was on the dance floor practically all night which is a good thing since I didn't make it to the gym but once this week - i was working them hips lol lol - i hate to admit it but Lil Wayne's song "I'm going in" had me thinking I was 20 yrs old again lol.   Whew but a sista is TI-RUD and feeling it this morning though.   Okay for dinner I'm making some cajun salmon croquettes, red beans & rice and spinach.  For dessert sugar-free cinnamon roll & caramel flavored pudding - omg to die for!

Have a blessed one mama!

I've got pork chops defrosted and I'll probablydo some salmon croquettes. Then of course I'll be dining vicariously through this thread.

I'm not into wigs, but I'd love to find a really good looking one. I doubt I'd wear it cause I hate hats and it will feel like a hat to me.

I decided to cook my meats for the week on the grill (deck is still snow covered :) I'm cooking a pork shoulder (8hrs) to make minced barbecue, 2 lobster tails with garlic & butter, sausages, 6 chicken drumettes.  I purchased a large bag of salad yesterday so this will be a nice low carb week.  I think I'm also going to make a little cole slaw to go with the minced barbecue yum yum.

not cooking 2 day... a couple left over wings from Sticky fingas, Steamed bag of brocccoli and caouliflower, and 1 or 2 forkfuls of mac and cheese i will be popping in the microwave 4 my son if he wants anything. He went out to eat with his grandparents after church so he won't be hungry enough for me to do any big cooking. (He eats like a bird anyway...skinny people genes from my ex hubby.)
