Obese man denied bus pass

He's been riding the bus for 2 years, but now they've suddenly decided he's too fat.

Un-freakin'-believable!!!!  It's just open season on fat people!!  The abuse is so obvious.  I have always said that fat people need to be a protected class along with the others.  Not that it will stop the racism people have towards us, but at least we'd have some leverage against this nonsense!!

True.  It's still considered OK to make fun of the obese.  Normally I love listening to the Tom Joyner Show, but this morning they kind of rubbed me the wrong way when they started making jokes about a pregnant obese woman who weighed in the 500's.  They had to take her to the hospital in the back of a  pickup truck when it was time for her to deliver her baby. 

It's the middle of winter...

I cannot imagine the humiliation she must have felt.

Girl, I turned the channel yesterday to watch a Pastor of a HUGE church bring the word, but before he did (as many speakers do) he opened with a joke.  It was a fat joke....I turned the channel!!!  

The word of God was hindered because this idiot decided to tell an stupid joke.  I wondered, how many people watching this were offended?  How many were hurt and put off by what he said?? How many felt less than worthy and unacceptable because this supposed man of God made a cruel, heartless comment when he was suppose to be bringing the word of God??

Now as for me, I won't become offended and block my blessing, but I realized that if he could tell a joke like that then there is something wrong with his heart and ability to love and I can't and won't receive from someone like that.  

I remember when I was MO and new here I was looking for a church home.  One Sunday, when I visited a new one, the service was running long and people were tired and getting restless. There was a jackass in the pulpit who made a wisecrack  that people just wanted to leave so they could go eat and that SOME of us looked like we could afford to miss a few meals.

I never went back.

Wow what is this the new war on Obesity...1st the guy on the plane now this!

We're the last group of people America is free to abuse.  Proof of an actual hazard not required. 

See, that's the thing that gets me too.  The city has NEVER weighed this man so they don't know for a fact that he does exceed the 600 pound limit.  Somebody just looked at him and made a judgement. 

This is just wrong.

I have never been that huge but to me my weight was to much.  I hate when I hear of things like this, just think if he eats out of being depressed.  Are because he's in his home so long he'll gain those 200lbs back in no time.
If he was an animal he would be treated better.
P.S. I have nothing against animals but just think, you would be in jail.
