If you have been to Atlantic City..advice needed.
Okay so my friend and I are going to Atlantic City this weekend to celebrate my b-day. Of course, we will do the Casino hopping and perhaps check out a club for some dancing. I have only gone to Atlantic City for the Casinos and in the past typically just ate at the buffets. Well...its a new day AND buffets are out!!!...not to mention...we really are looking for something different. If you have been to Atlantic City or live nearby, can you recommend and give advice for Dinner and nightlife. Unfortunately, there are no concerts going on this weekend worthy of seeing. Brian McKnight, JayZ (sold out) and Alicia Keys will all be there in the upcoming months.
We really want to have a nice time. These are places that we have in mind right now:
Jay Z's 40/40 Club (mixed online reviews)
House of Blues
The Melting Pot ( I have wanted to go to one of these for a while...but it can wait)
Roll Play Erotic Couples Lounge (LOL! All I want to do is look....trying to experience "most" things once)
The Pool Night Club at Harrah's Resort
Thanks in advance for you help family!

No disrepsect to Jigga fans out there but I don't get the point of going to one of his concerts. I like some of his songs and even own a CD or two of his, but I watched one of his concerts on Showtime once and was dayum near bored to tears. It was like watching a guy detail your car - it costs a few extra bucks; he went to work and forgot that you were watching him the whole time; and when he was done he left you feeling like if you were given the time and money you could've have done the exact same job yourself.
But I digress...
Shopping in AC is insanely overpriced. My advice: Save some of the gambling and food money and hit a few live shows.

Thanks Aye!
You know...this is a dead weekend in AC. There simply are no good live shows there. All I see is some mess about a Crocodile Rock and the Harlem Globetrotters. Neither of these seem enticing to me....but you are right about saving on the food. Whereever we go...I know I will be bringing a doggy bag with me. We might drop a few quarters but nothing crazy...the economy simply will not allow it. .

Some of the hotels have good spas plus discounts whereever you're staying. I lucked into tickets for Smokey last time I was there. When you want a specific weekend it**** or miss on the shows.
