I would concur with legalizing it with the stipulation that you have to have certain qualification just like any other job when it comes to their profession. Since community health risks are involved..they should adhere to the following:

1.) All hos and gigolos must carry at all times, a valid bar coded Health record which documents their HIV status and clearance for STDs. If they are not a card carriers....they probably will have to find another professions or continue to service the crack heads who are probably infected themselves.

2.) They should be required to be finger printed in an effort to identify people. There unfortunately are a lot of people that are victims of involuntary servitude. Perhaps legalization might help to find some of these people.

3.) They must participate in annual required trainings. No...I am not talking about trainings on how to give a good bl*w job but trainings on self esteem, safe sex and career development. maybe this might one day help them to see a way to develop their career path...just like any other.

I am sure there could be some others but these are my thoughts. Bottom line..its gonna happen regardless. Like others have said...run it like a business.

personally I've always felt it should be legal. I don't think it's any co-inky dink that the gubment has a stake in the only place it IS legal. IMO the only reason it aint is cause they could never control it and collect taxes from millions of Americans and because it would be a step in rendering them obsolete. **** I could turn bout 7 tricks in the time it takes me in the unemployment office.

Furthermore there are public awareness campaigns and pleas for me to DONATE my blood, plasma, bone marrow, organs, time, old clothes and housewares but I can't profit of my own damn ***** C'mon son
