My Plastic Surgery Consult
So I had my initial consult this morning with the Plastic Surgeon. It was sort of embarrassing for some reason. When he asked me to let him see my tummy...I whip it out like it was a giant di*k or something!!! LOL! He tossed it around a little...and said..."oh yes...we can take care of this nicely." He seemed optimistic that the insurance will pay for my tummy tuck. I on the other hand will just keep about it. The only disappointing part of the consult was that he really did not want to get into the breast or arm lift but rather focus on one problem at at time. He asked me, "what bothers you most". Of course, its this dayum gut! I have to have it off this summer. When I look in the mirror...I can see a dramatic difference when I look at my profile and slap that gut to the other side....I look tight....the quads are starting to be off and popping. He took pre-op pics and agrees that if I lose extra weight between now and then...I will have better results.
So he wants to see me back in April...since I don't want to have the procedure until the summer. He says that the insurance approval and scheduling the surgery should take no more than a week or so.
So I am even more gung ho about my mission to lose 29 pounds. I am at 209 as of this morning. 9 more pounds and I will be in onederland!
Yeah me!!!

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Hey Jkeeton,
Well...I have made a commitment to stay between 1000-1400 calories a day. I am doing high protein and low carbs (under 40gm daily). There are days when I do go over...but I try not to beat myself up too much. I also hit the rec center 3-5 days a week. I have been averaging 3 days. On three days I do cardio all three and 2 days of weight training. I know I need to pump this up a bit...but I have so many after school activities for my girls that do interfere. Getting lots of water in is critical. I do post periodically about my goal...will post one in a little while. Feel free to jump on the goal with me. The more the merrier!
