Dealing with a horrendous loss of a loved one. Senseless crime just stinks!!!
My heart hearts - not for me but for his mother.
You know the kind of mother and son relationship where her face just lit up at the thought of her SON?? Well my cousin lost her son at the hands of a cruel, heartless unnamed person.
I hurt for her.
Give me some words of understanding...Not just that God said It was time for Him to call him home, or God works in mysterious ways, or God giveth and God taketh away.
I'm looking for the Peace that withstands ALL understanding. I know it's there and when I feel better I will feel it. But right now I'm ANGRY and HURT.
I love you!!
And I know that LOVE defies all UNDERSTANDING also.

I'm with you on what's coming to them.
At the height of the snow storm on Feb. 5th he was just trying to get home...30 miles from Baltimore to Largo. Probably gave some sorry chicks a ride out of the snow and he was shot in his car and robbed - left with car running. Family was waiting at home and he never made it.
The BEST young man, not a hood rat, hustler or thug- a good GUY. (why is it ALWAYS the GOOD ones??)
So yeah I'm MAD. Heard what Pastor had to say in the service but I just think like all too manyof our Good young men and women he is GONE TO SOON!!!
And yeah it hurts and makes me MAD!!!
I pray for KARMA to be the judge and jury!!

That's why I don't help strange folk. EVER - I have seen some folk stranded and whatnot - ain't no way I risk not making it home to babygirl behind some f*cker wanting to rob. Rain, sleet, snow or whatever - that's why I have a AAA card - don't need no help.
I hate it for you and your family - that reminded me of Bill Cosby's son getting killed helping that dude change a tire.......

This is a sad one and anger is the correct emotion to have at this time.... Useless, senseless deaths always leave us angry, hurting and feeling helpless. So that lets me know you are where you ought to be....Soon enough understanding, peace and saying the stuff we say will mean something but right now anger is what should be processed. My heart is with you and his mom and all who loved him. In God's own timing, the tears will be fewer, the pain will not hurt as much and life as we know it will have its daily clarity...but now this time embrace anger and let it takes it course....so when the time comes for you to be the trooper you have to be for others who are hurting more than you. You will have made the transition with pure thoughts. I love you my dear and I will pray for the strength that it takes to get through times like these.
