LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
So, I've decided to get on the protein train. The only exception may be some "lite" soup which I will season and have should I not feel like cooking. My freezer is empty and takeout has too many hidden carbs and extra fat.
I'm clueless if it will stop the true weight gain but it usually helps me shed the water which is over 50% and climbing. The scale has come down a little but I'm still over 5 lbs up. Fkuc!

I have been eating like a runner since all I freaking do is run. Since I made the decision to only run outside and train for a marathon I need a lot of carbs or else I am so exhausted,
I have to start posting my runs, I need the motivation. I have been running exclusively outside for close to 3 weeks and have made amazing progress. My biggest obstacle is my asthma, my lungs do not like that cold early morning air, but I hate running in the afternoon.
I went from running 2 hours inside to 2 min outside struggling. LOL I know I will be able to run a lot further as soon as my lungs get use to this.

You've got to eat like a runner because you are a runner.
Please post your runs. I love the running and other exercise threads. It will motivate me on my 8k program.
BTW: You were so right about my cutting calories. My weight climbed even faster. Did a little more research to discover that the "starvation mode" thing is exponentially greater in the metabolically challenged like me. I won't be deliberately going below 1100 calories any more.

I'm glad you realized about that low low calorie thinking. I wanted to say more but when someone is desperate they tend not to listen to reason. I know. LOL.
I actually think this running outside and eating carbs may be working, at least i'm feeling thinner. I'm not going to weight myself because that will just screw up my head to much if I haven't lost 40 pounds in a week.
