Yeah I Yelled It Out The Window !!!!!

For some reason, I can't get my name back but hi y'all this is neenaj.    Well my hubby took me to physical therapy and he pulled the truck up for me to crawl up in to. The vehicle in front of us had a dr. getting out from his lunch break with his wife and kids. The bumper sticker said, "Where Is The Birth Certificate? " Well that just hit me the wrong way because frankly I'm tired of these people in TN and everywhere blaming everything on one man. I have yet to see a perfect president. Well when my husband passed by them, I rolled the window down and said loudly "try looking Hawaii !!!" My hubby was sooooo embarassed but he knows that sometimes I have a temper and there is no telling what will come out of my mouth.

What disturbed me more than anything is that I'm a chronic illness patient and this was a dr. and I wonder how he REALLY treats his patients. I know we're human and we have a right to our opinion but when I was a teacher, I took my job seriously. My students would never or their parents see me with alcohol or out at a bar because I thought that was the example that I had to set. If my hubby wanted beer, he had to get it without me. That's just my opinion and I know it's prudish but that's how I lived my life. I know now that it was something that really didn't matter but to me it bothered me to know that a dr. would have that on his vehicle even though I know dr's feel a whole lot worse than that and don't have a bumper sticker.  That's my issue but it was freeing to say what I had to say any way. lol

I do agree that "professionals" should probably keep it NON partisan.  I was at my dr's office shortly after McCain selected Palin and one of the Chiropractors that shares space in the facility was talking to a red neck looking patient and they were like in WAR MODE!   I don't use that facility for chiropractic care and don't have to have any interaction with that dr, but that really rubbed me the wrong way as the only person and black woman, sitting there, I thought it was real tacky to have that conversation right there especially since they had just come into the waitng room from the back.  Hell, me and the nurse confine our girlfriend talk to the privacy of the examination room. They were so ****y, I heard the dr say yeah, he got the right one, as if to say it's a wrap with Palin, McCain will win hands down.  And I'm sitting here thinking FAIL.  McCain just lost himself the election you idiot.  I bet both of them are angry douchebags...sorry I mean "teabaggers" now.

That's okay I Am Worthy, I should have explained it but I was still worked up when I wrote this yesterday. I posted this on my fb page too and I did it for another reason. I've been on a private message forum for more than 5 yrs with about 12 women and this past election some of the women started to show their TRUE colors. She was the first one to answer my fb post yesterday and say Pres. Obama wasn't from Hawaii. She posts something negative on her wall almost 3-4 times weekly and the only other person that took a stand up to her died about 3 months ago and I miss her so much. I've never met these women but I felt like they were friends.

This past election had us telling it like it is. I was the only black woman, there is a Hawaiian woman, a woman that used to married to a black man. The woman that challenged me yesterday owns the board I post on but I spoke my peace during the election and they had to add another section just for politics so that if you didn't want to see it you don't have to.

I went through all of this to say, sometimes you have to stick up for yourself and I get tired of her self righteous, elitist remarks and I wanted to see how fast she would reply. I know y'all are saying why even bother with a racist you've never met and frankly I don't know. I guess the saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer come to mind". I only visit that other board once a week to ask about another member whose husband has cancer. My other friend who was married to a black friend no longer posts there and we talk on the phone.

Sorry for the rambling. lol

Keep speaking out girl.  With all major media in control of just a few , we need folks like you.  How many times have we heard prases along the lines of Butthole-bush deserves our respect just because he's president?  Now that an insightful intelligent man is in office, the issue is his dad is Black.

Unless I missed the memo that came after my elementary school days, only a citizen born in the US may run for president.  This is of course the disrespect some pinks feel their white male ego entitles them to display.   It follows the white Western trend of treatment towards Black people in leadership positions everywhere.  SMDH.
