Bowflex...anyone?

Hi All,

I have an amazing opportunity to purchase a brand new Bowflex from a co-worker for 1/3 of the going price. I'm only 6 weeks out and currently have just been doing the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs and some small free weights.

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the Bowflex?

I have used a Bowflex and I think it gives you a good workout, but I sure in hell wouldn't buy it for my home.  That thing is huge,  my friend got one like 8 years ago and it ate up her entire living room, because she couldn't fit it anywhere else.    She ended up putting it in her garage and then selling it at a yard sale for like 100 bucks after spending close to 1,000.   Just stupid

Eeek, at that kind of loss on investment. It's actually why my co-worker is getting rid of his. We have the extra room downstairs; I just wondered how good or bad an exercise tool it is.

It is a good workout,  You can get some great arm work done on it.  I didn't like the leg workout cause I don't like pulley workouts for my lower body.
