Well Today Is My 2 yr Surgiversary and I have No Place To Celebrate !!!
I feel like Sophia when she's crying and says that nobody knows her no more. This is how BAF is to me now.
Today is my 2 yr surgiversary and I've gone from 355 to 167-171 (most days). I exceeded my dr's goal, my goal and now he wants me to gain weight. I'm not comfortable with the g word and I know I look small. My son told me last week that my head looked too big for my body. lol Kids will tell the truth unless it pertains to them. People who see me at the grocery store and don't know that I've had surgery look at me with pity in their eyes because they knew for years that I've suffered from chronic illnesses and it's obvious on their faces that they think I'm sick. I'm too tired and sick to even go through the process of telling them why I'm really thin.
I had a few chronic illnesses before surgery and have them still and surgery has allowed a few things to be diagnosed. My knees and feet feel so much better and I'm so grateful for this surgery even though my illnesses didn't disappear but I'm living a better life being half the size I used to be. I would do it all again but sooner in my life. My advice is to listen to your surgeon and nutritionist and TAKE your VITAMINS. I take my vitamins daily and I still have some deficiencies so it's more important than anything. Enjoy this life that God has allowed you live because there are too many that would trade places with you.

Congratulations to you. We must live with what we've been handed, but you're doing everything possible to be the healthiest you can be in spite of it all.

Congrats on your 2 year surgiversary you have ready done a fanastic job. Even with your problem with the knees and feet. I think that was my down fall not reaching the last 20lbs. I've been fighting the last 20 lbs last year, Ive lost 7 of them only to regain eating under stress old habit die hard. Evertime I see your home town I think of the years that HB and I travel there it's a great town. The last time we was there we start out early to go to a wedding in Nashville our host wanted us to stay later. Thank God we start out early the snow fell there be not in Nashville.
