OT: Has the Board ever been this quiet???

Exactly!!  That is what I said a few days ago.  That BAF would be reduced to posts about vitimines and protein drinks and gone are the days of Christian sex questions and freaky friday posts or better yet, the heated discussions on relationship issues.  I miss it.  I really do.

Going on lockdown too...(Except for the Bird Of The Week...lol)

 I've been digging out this week. Every spare moment I get, I've got a shovel in my hand and I'm moving snow. It's total BS and I'm sick of it.

Hi Doug!  I don't care about the share button because people have always been able to copy and paste conversations, pictures and anything else on here;  OH just added a more formal, easier way to do it!   LOL!

Anyway, I'm spending all of my time over on Facebook where I'm addicted to farming and a whole lot of other stuff. 

I agree with you Karen,  as far as the share option feature.  

The only thing I removed was my highest weight. 

My family and BFF's are on  Facebook so I am active over there also.

LIke everything else in life, there are ebbs and flows.  I guess this is at a "low" point, right now...

Okay, that was the politically correct answer.  The real answer, imho, is that many have seemed to lose sight of why here in the first place (yeah, okay...having lives outside of baf may play into it, also. Now those lives are lead on FaceBook. lol ).  Many seem to have said, "I got what I wanted out of this forum and I'm out..." which, of course, is their right.   Other, only the other hand, only show up when drama ensues.  They love a good online "soap opera" with lots of name-calling, innuendo-dropping and the like.  lol.  I mean, yeah, sometimes, it makes for good theater, but gets kinda lame / tired sometimes.  In short, some get tired of the bullsh*t.

I personally think...its more the fact that OH did not give folks any consideration when they implemented the change. Yeah...perhaps...its now more convenient for folks to share...and not so much that it was possible before...but it definitely disrupted the ignorant bliss that most of us was enjoying by letting our hair down over here. It absolutely is a DIRECT result of the installation of the share button and related issues...prior to that...everything was peachy keen...IMHO.
