I am here and I think I am finally getting settled, well about as settled as one can get under the situation.
Other than the danger of being over here, I would say I have it pretty darn good.
Wake up in the morning, make my bed, go shower, and wait for a car to come pick me up and take me to eat, and to work. Work for 10 hours, 2 of those during the day is paid at overtime, 10 hours on Sat is paid overtime. I get to be off on Sunday. Car take me to eat, which all meals is free of charge and there is 4 dining facility to chose from and I must say the food is good. After work, the car takes me back to my chu (room) which is also free of charge. When ever I have laundry, I separate the loads, put each load in a laundry bag and drop it off to be washed again free of charge and I can pick up the laundry the next day.
The gym is open 24 hours a day and within walking distance from where I leave. If not for the danger, I would feel like I am away on a Fat Farm having my meals cooked for me and being able to go to the gym.
Keep me in your prayers
Above is a couple of picture for your viewing pleasure, one where i am sitting in Husein Sudan royal seat and the other taken from the door way of Husein Sudan palace where he stayed. I am sure his name is misspelled
Hey Laverne!
Looks like I am the first one up...I am so glad to hear that you made it there safely. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I am praying steadfastly for you and your comrades safety over there...that the higher powers surround you with guardian angels so that you can return safely home.
Take care of yourself!
