5 years ago this Month I had WLS

Wow BAF,

I can't believe it's been Five years this month that I had life changing surgery, I have had great support from BAF especially in the early years Cookie, Dolphin Dee Dee, Trinity Peach, Dimple Donna, Ms Praise and so many, many more.  I have done well I believe with my Surgery I started out at 269 size 26 and 24s and as of today I am 167 size 10's and some 8's. I had gained up to 179 and decided. Jan. 4 2010 that I would go back to the basics and it works Guys, I am at 167 as of my weigh in today. I still have a personal goal that I am on the quest to make so I am determined to make that this year.

Congrats!! That is exciting! I am in the process of getting approved for my surgery. Its nice to hear a testimony from someone who had it so long ago! Its inspiring that you are still happy with your decision!

Congrats on keeping up the good work.  I have not been on the website in years.  I had surgury 6 years ago this month.  My lowest weight was 143 and right now I am within 5 punds of that.  I had fallen off about 2 years ago with the exercise and with a boyfriend, but I have renewed my efforts.  I do not want all of my hard work to have been in vain and it is a slipperly slope to heavy.  

Do you meet people now, who never knew you as a heacy person and can't believe that you were ever big?
