LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I just came back from walking. It's cold outside but I bundled up and I love the fresh air.
I'm choking down my next round of Vitamin D as I type this.
I've lost three pounds this week...not a good thing. I'm going to add some fat and carbs (the good ones ) and tweak to find a good balance.
Breakfast: 1/2c cottage cheese, 1/2 cup chopped peaches.
Snack: Protein shake
Lunch: Chicken salad, apple
Snack: Toasted peanut butter sandwich with apple slices
Snack: Protein shake
Dinner: Sushi
Snack: 1/2c cottage cheese, fresh strawberries
Gotta enter this into dailyplate.com to find my numbers.....
With the exception of my low D, everything else is well. I no longer have that "sick" look. You know, when the face looks drawn in. The workouts have helped tremendously but I think I will continue to only stick with weights and the occasional walk/run for cardio purposes only.
I am stressed right now. My son's uncle died last weekend, the dog won't stop ******g everywhere, still without a job and Corny is working waaaaayyyyyy too many hours.
My pouch (that otch!!!) didn't care for last night's tacos so I missed out on my evening snack. I had a couple of grapes and went right back to sleep.
Okay, I've ranted enough....
Well – no gym this morning. I worked at home till late. Moms is taking the midget for the weekend, so I will either late night gym or early morning tomorrow.
Eating is on point – I’m actually not really hungry all that much, haven’t had any cravings. I’m doing simple lunch meat rollups for lunch – wasn’t feeling very creative today…. Oh well.
Vitamins done and looking to get in 60 to 80 oz of water.
Settle in or skip it folks because I'm rambling today.
Yesterday was either a good day or a bad one depending on your perspective. If you took it purely based on the parameters I'd set for myself, Pass. If you look at it from a behavioral perspective, Fail.
First I'll grade the former, Pass/ Fail.
Calories, high cal day 1620. Greater than the usual high cal day but well within the max range for my ideal weight. Pass/ Protein 125g, 25g short, Fail / Carbs 23% however this includes sugar alcholols and fiber both of which were high for the day. Net carbs just 13%. Pass/ Liquids, 90 oz including a quart of plain water. Pass/ Supplements, all taken. Pass/ Exercise cardio and strength done 907 cal burn. Pass/ Calorie deficit 1032, still in the 2 lb a week loss range. Pass.
Now for the latter. The share button version of my behavioral perspective. Unvarnished honesty is reserved for another place.
Meals were well controlled, including dinner out and a movie snack. I do not usually eat during movies. After the show, three hours or more later, I had my last snack of the day. It was healthy, but it should have been protein based. It was not. Last, I had an unecessary late night snack. From a behavioral perspective: Fail.
