LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I did well today. All on point. My grades for the day: Pass/ Fail
Calories 1390, pass/ protein 153g, pass/ carbs 17%, pass/ workout cardio & strength 981 calorie burn, pass/ vits & supplements, pass/ calorie deficit 1336, pass/ liquids 80 oz & plain water 40 oz, pass.
Its been a near perfect week so far. I'd love a higher calorie deficit but its not realistic. Fact is, as you loose your deficit decreased unless you starve yourself. I'm not one to eat 500 to 800 calories a day for life. I'm sticking with my current base bmr as a guideline. This gives me a built in deficit of about 350 calories plus exercise calories. So far I'm on track for a 2-2.5 lb equivalent calorie deficit for the week. Of course me being me, I've lost absolutely nothing in two weeks. Humph!
Shamefully, I succumbed to a late night protein snack of 55 calories. Bad, but it did not blow my day. Total calories remain in range at 1445, deficit 1281.
I thought I was ok on the night eating. I'll have to continue to reserve a few calories for the overnight munchies. This recent night hunger will eventually pass. Please let it pass.
Wow! You are doing awesome. Congrats! Don't beat yourself up on the protein snack. Remember when you would have made a sugar/high fat/carb choice instead? I am on the protein shakes again today. Will probably fit in some baked fish too and a few veggies. I have been slacking on the cardio this week. It has been so cold and I have not wanted to go to the garage and get on the bike. I have been doing the toning religiously. I have to restock the fridge today before the winter storm hits so I am going to focus on making good choices.
You do such a good job on following the exact caloric instake as well as the carolies burned. I will try to work on that next week.
Have a good one everyone.
