That warms my heart. It reminds me of my daddy and hubby. My daddy has to do everything for my momma right now and it's so sad but he refuses to put her in a nursing home. She put up with a lot from him for years but he has built special bathrooms and ramps for her and takes wonderful care of her.
My hubby has had to feed me at times and even try to comb my hair. He has held me while having seizures. I know that at our age he would rather have a young, sexy woman but I was there through the hard times. That's what we do.

Wow! This is such a reminder of how the little things could bless someone else's life. Awesome story...........you are probably making his day! The old folks have such great wisdom. I'm glad you heard and obeyed the voice of God - so many times we try to ignore it, turn it down or think...............not me. Sounds like it's bringing joy to you as well.

You are not playing fair.....why you have to lure me out of lurk mode so quickly. As for the story.....good for you AND even better for him. I am a firm believer that people are put in our lives for a reason. Now.....I am holding firm....no more sappy stories ya'll....you know I wear my heart on my shoulders.
