Good morning BAF and happy Tuesday to you.  Its still early in the week, is your plan in place yet?  Have you evaluated last week yet?  What do you have planned for this week?   Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  

Did your behavior over last week mirror your objectives?  Does your plan for today support your goals?  Are you mindful of the basics?  
Remember: protein first; plenty of liquids; take all of your supplements; no drinking with meals...   You know the drill.

Well...I skipped the rec center yesterday. I ran much later than expected at work and by the time I picked the girls up it was going on almost 8pm. I like to be at the rec center by 7pm at the latest cause I need to get the girls bathed and settled down by 9pm on a school night.  I turned the IPOD up when we got home and had a dance off party with the girls. Lawd have mercy...glad I did...I could not believe one of the dances my baby was doing. Seems she picked one up at the baby sitters....drop it drop it low. Heyl NO!!! Had to tell her...don't want to see her doing that one again. Everything else was all good.

Plan for the day is all screwed up because I ran out of the house this am without any lunch. Threw a light yogurt and Mozzarella Sticks in my lunch bag. I do have some tuna and protein soup and protein hot cocoa here....but that does not sound appetizing at all.   Grabbed some cheerios and milk this am but missed my supps. I am thinking that I will switch to taking my supps in the evenings.  I have only missed them a couple of times in the am over the last six months or so...but I see my ams getting more rushed. Don't want to set the stage for a bad habit to develop. 

Plan is to keep it between 1200-1400c (track) with 80 oz water and SF/CF fluids. Take supps tonight and hereafter at night.

Overall still feeling good...seems my stomach is going down.  I broke down and got the scale out of storage...just could not resist...back at 214.  It had went back up to 218 before I put the scale away. My trainer affirms that will have weight fluctuations as a result of the training. As my muscles grow, metabolism will increase and then weight loss will start and stop again in a repetitive cycle. I know that I am going back and forth with the scale thing...its just so hard not knowing...so I wonder if I should use the scale, tape measure and clothes...together. I know..I know.

ETA: Cardio (30mins) and Weights tonight.

I use all three to track my progress.  The scale frustrates me but the tape measure and my clothing never lie.

no exercise

I hate my body.  I had lost 5 marbles, been eating beyond well and wake up this morning 8 pounds heavier.   

I try to be positive but this happens every single time.

It’s my off day gym wise but I did do a lil ‘cardio’ this morning  – I did reasonably good yesterday – ended the day with a gab fest with a good friend of mine whi*****luded some serious snacking on my part – oh well! 

 

I’m still not looking at the scale – it’s just not telling me what I want to hear!  LOL  but – if my clothes get tight – then it’s Ghandi time.  In the meantime – tomorrow is squat day – LOVE those – I’m going to kill it with those, lunges and glute press. 

 

Did my protein shake and Fiber one pancake this morning, about to do a banana and peanut butter crackers for mid morning snack, lunch is turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.  Dinner – babyback ribs, baked beans and peas probably. 

 

Oh!  My other snack is cucumber slices marinated in lite Italian dressing.  YUMMO!!!!  LOL

Hate those squats but they do so much good.  Cardio can be addictive.  It feels good to get the blood pumping.

Seriously....I was just thinking about getting me some cucumbers today. Sliced with some italian dressing and maybe a little onion.....the perfect snack!! Reminds me of that salad they have at Sbarro minues the tomatoes. Very tasty.
