I like that idea as well.  Choices is what bring happiness.  Not having a choice on the matter is what pissed everyone off.

I posted the idea to their 'sticky' message on the Main Forum. We'll see if they notice. LOL

I was thinking the same thing.  It has to be possible.

Eventual data mining did cross my mind.  Great minds.  This is why I stopped journaling here.  If I need to stay on lock down there are other sites where I can journal publically that have zero info on me other than a screen name and a hidden email address. 

I agree it could work.  However, if adult content is the criteria for removal of the share, this group qualifies. 

This forum should be an exception just like plastics and r&r.  I would participate in a separate group, but many newbies would never find the BAF 'private' group.  Some of us (me) took years to find this forum.

While I do get your point, pic or not, posting my emotional state is a big deal for me.  Equally as important and my likeness, just different.  I do not take it lightly even if I'm ananymous.  As long as the button exists I have no confidence in exposing my self emotionally.  

You have every right to vent, as this has been a safe haven for a lot of people.  I remember several months back when a particurally racy subject was the hot topic, someone brought  up their concern about  being "exposed"  at that time their concerns were elevated, because as someone pointed out, in order to access the content, you had to be a member of OH.  So, in my mind, so what if someone did a copy & paste, unless that info was really scathing, no biggie & if they didn't have access to OH anyway, so what... Not anymore.  It's as if Big Brother has came & clamped down our right to free speech & that's whats got a lot of people upset.  As most times you have to be guarded in RL, but you don't have to here.

As far as the newbies go, as with even the BAF board now, someone can always point them over to the private group. 

I like your idea Gigilani, but you got half of BAF that can't stand each other, so how would that work out? Just kidding.
