New Facebook Link inside...see the share button in action

Ok...I created this FB page (see link below) just to give you a taste of how the risk of having your business blasted all over the internet has been increased a 1000 fold or more.  All the links on that page are from OH.  Yes....this site was not private before but the risk was significantly less that someone would use your personal business on here and make it a ******g hobby!

Some bored ass **** (troll) can now sit on the couch and have a field day...tying your information to your employer's webpages, your child's daycare webpages etc.. etc... if you have shared enough about yourself.  Cut copying and pasting someones information is NOT the same as leading them back to the actual site with a trail of internet do do droppings.  

All I am saying is that the folks that don't like it have a right to be upset about it.  We weren't even given the courtesy of a notification. I know the site needs to generate revenues...Hell...I have been a sponsor of this very site myself in the past BUT I still think we at least deserved a little common courtesy.  Hell everyone on here has helped generate revenues in one shape or another ..be it by buying goods from an advertiser or having one of the highlighted surgeons perform your procedures, attend OH events etc... etc... In other words, being here has not been at NO cost.

BUT it is thier site and they can do whatever the hell they feel like doing with it.

This FB page was created just to give you an idea of what the share button can do and how dangerous it is actually.  I do not think that obese people are gross as stated on the page...technically I am still obese per BMI. I am just saying that any jokester can take the information and run amok with it.

yeah it's some bull****  I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a site like media takeout or some such and they have a "story" about what happened on someone's fb page complete with screen shots of the whole low down lifted from fb.  THAT is my big issue and the people who are all "INBD" are either full of **** or just aren't thinking about how messy people can be.  I'm done with it though, they clearly don't give a damn.

Could you access the page or did it say that you need to be added as a friend?  I can put screen shots up...after that...I am done. Just want folks to be careful now!

I have a question.... I changed my avie, but why does it keep going back to my old pic?

I don't know why that would be happening.  Did you shut your computer down all the way. Sometimes there are items in cache memory that might come back up when you open up a browser that was not shut down properly before. Other than that I don't know how to explain why this would occur.  

Yeah that's crazy.  When I go to change it the stop sign avie is on there but when I post it shows my picture.  That was done several days ago, and I've rebooted since then. I'll keep trying to change it back.  Thanks again

Go to internet options and clear your history, cookies, forms etc.. etc... Then see what happens.

Well I changed it to the eye and Its no longer showing my profile pic...thanks!! 

Try hitting F5...your computer is probably saving cookies.  If that doesnt work then be sure to delete all cookies and that should resolve the problem.
