A crockpot might be your best friend. Soooooooo easy. You can find tons of recipes on the Internet. I come home from work and my condo smells so good.

I also LOVE crock-pot cooking!

I buy meats in bulk packs to get them at a better price, or just load up when meat is on sale.  I open, clean & trim fat, pre-season, and re-package meats before freezing.  I label everything and organize the freezer to find things quickly.

Anytime I have a super busy day planned, I just pull the meats headed for the crock-pot out the night before & place them in the fridge to thaw overnight.  If they need searing, I'll do that in the morning while making breakfast, then toss the meat, onion, garlic, cream soup, etc. into the cooker  and set it for an easy dinner meal.  I wait to add frozen or fresh veggies 30 minutes or so before serving (so they are not mushy) and viola!

I gave up potatoes, but when we ate them, I'd add them in with the meat if I'm gone all day, or mid-afternoon if I'm around.

I have also been known to toss frozen (pre-seasoned) meats into the crock-pot during a really rushed morning.  Just add a little chicken or beef stock to keep it from sticking to the bottom while it thaws, works just as good as pre-thawed meats.

As Star said, it's simply wonderful to come home to a fully cooked meal that fragranced the house as if Emeril has been cooking
in there all day!

Hubby is planning to fire up the smoker again today.

We will have salmon steaks, which I marinated ahead of time.  He will use his new veggie basket to smoke asparagus and mixed veggies to go along with the salmon.

Hey Ms PD, I'm late for supper today but will be chowing down vicariously as is the norm.

I've got tilapia & ground beef thawed so I'll fry the fish today with some veg and fix some seasoned burgers for the freezer.  I love the walmart frozen burgers but mine are lower fat/ cal.

@ She will have to walk fast by the fridge and play like that's the drive thru.....

We've been eating out way too much in the past week, so in between laundy, cleaning, hair washing/braiding and baby duty, I'ma try to throw something together.

Spaghetti with ground turkey and garden herb sauce might be the easiest way to go today.

It was doggie bag pot luck in this camp today. Can't believe how many boxes we hads. But I do love that lots of places give those black containers w/ the plastic lids for boxes now...perfect size for lunches. Anywho, we dined on Cheesecake Factory, Harry's Tap room, Source, chinese, Red Lobster, and Rosa Mexicano. My stomach is gonna be doing flips tonite!!

Tomorrow I'm cooking my meals
