ALL Vets (MACK MAMA cmon in) - HELP ME!!! Vitamin Issues...
Okay here is the deal...
My last few sets of labs came back abnormal - low Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B-2. Before yall beat the crap out of me and Mack kicks me in the throat, I AM TAKING my vitamins daily, but I seem to not be absorbing them well. The first thought was that i need to just switch brands, and it was suggested that I try Bariatric Advantage ( I got them on order now!), since they are formulated for better absorption. Has this happened to any of you?
The other concern is that my weight loss has stalled for about three months (only fluctuates by the normal 1-3 lbs) and so I am wondering if this is because of the vitamin deficiency? I have read that this will cause a stall and my body seems to be all jacked up. Good news is that my pouch is intact, as I still can't eat more than a kids meal and I still get full like I am supposed to. I'm exercising and eating the proper foods of course, and I know that stalls do occur. I think I am more concerned about this vitamin thing and how it correlates to the stall. My surgeon is in AL and I am in WA, so right now I am trying to find one who will see me (these fools over here REFUSE to talk to you unless they did your surgery..some liability mumbo jumbo). Let me know if you have had this issue or can offer any other tips!
Thanks

Definitely sounds like you're on the way to being back on track - and I would agree that the low levels probably are contributing to the stall. When you have have any imbalance in the body - it will adjust in order to preserve itself. You will probably find that in a couple of weeks on the new vitamins, you will get back to losing as long as you continue to follow a solid routine.
What abou****er intake? You didn't mention it - but hydration is also very important - being dehydrated will also help stall you out.
No beat down here! Dang - I was all ready and ish..... *walks off, kicks rocks*
LOL!!!

Thanks, that makes me feel better. As for the water, I am doing 80oz per day of just solid water, then probably another 20oz of other liquid (decaf tea, decaf coffee). I started not counting any other liquids with my water, because some days it would seem that I was drinking like 30oz of decaf and only about 30oz of water, lol.
