I called OH about this 'sharing' crap yall - SOUND OFF!

I told the OH rep about the traffic...hell just look at our board this morning..DEAD except for posts about the sharing.  Thats it.  No questions, jokes, NADA. Hopefully they will get the point.  If not im starting my own dang PRIVATE website lol.  Who is with me??? lmbo

I'm on lockdown. 

I'm unemployed. I don't need a potential employer finding about my WLS....it's a liability. I've filled out applications that want to know if you participate on any social networking sites and they want you to LIST them. Nah partner, I can't add this one to the mix.

A notification would've been nice.

When I want to be on a social networking site I go to FB this is my haven for support and information on WLS not socialization & public sharing I have a life.  OH needs to rethink this. 

The type of dialoge we come to this site for is not the social networking kind of ish.

That's like a therapist streaming sessions with his patients over the web.  They didn't even give us the option of a poll or the respect of a warning.

Of course anything online is never classified information or completely anonymous, but no one has a clue about certain sites unless they have a use for them.  Thus I felt pretty comfortable until yesterday.  I was never one to share pictures or get too intimate, but  I feel COMPLETELY VIOLATED.

I am not ashamed of the fact that I had surgery nor do I lie about it or anything like that, but does everyone that I've ever known in life know?  NO.  Do I want to be randomly tweeted into cyberspace so that people I DON'T know can read everything I've ever said on here? NO.

People share delicate intimate issues and vulnerabilities here and there is absolutely NO REASON why that would need to be "shared" anywhere else and potentially EXPLOITED and used as fodder by mean spirited people who don't understand the struggle and see us and our issues as nothing but a punchline.  Adding the option of sharing leaves us all extremely vulnerable AND opens a door that leaves us prey to a whole new market of unsolicited solicitation and possible harassment.  IMO It's no different than outing a sexual assault victim or homosexual.  Stupid, reckless and again...

COLOSSAL FAIL OH, YOU TRULY JUMPED THE SHARK ON THIS ONE.  Idiots.
