Dude you don't have a clue of some of the **** us oldies have said on this mother,  some of it we don't want leaking out so EASILY.   We know that this is a public form, but it had a faux anonymity for us that we didn't want to lose by the click of a button.

AA meetings have always been public but drinkers would still not want their public meetings broadcast on cable access.

Unliess I'm missing something, I don't see the comparison.
So people can link our posts to their FB?
Ok. So how does that you put you on blast to all of YOUR friends? A bunch of folks you don' t know may or may not read...just like right now.

Hey Valena,

The best way I can explain as to how "I" feel is that my exposure has been increased exponentially. Before...the likeliness of someone finding me on here was minimal BUT now the likeness is too great for comfort.  Everybody is for the most part only divided by 6 degrees of separation....add FB into the mix and that separation decreases significantly IMO.  It really is a small world. Add to that the factor of the new ease of shioot starting (click of a button)...and the risk is TOO great. I knew there was a risk before..... but I was willing to take the "minimal" risk.

Now with the FB interface...information is much more likely to just fall into someone's lap IN ADDITION to the fact that they could have made a conscious search.  I could name a few people who might want to have a field day at my expense if they stumbled upon my information...before I would not have given them credit as to having enough brains to search OR even the willingness to take the time.
