Sick and miserable...

So I have this horrible sore throat and my doc gave me some antibiotics yesterday, big white horse pill. Needless to say I can't swallow it and crushing it in cottage cheese made me vomit. I'm having the worse time swallowing even liquids but I know I need to eat or drink something before I get even worse. Any suggestions on what to do about the pill, food, or drink?

Loving my new life and all the wonderful things that go with it, on to my next journey! 99 pounds down and about 10 more to go but it has been a heck of a ride...

Call your pharmacist and tell him/her your situation. They might be able to recommend a liquid antibiotic for you to take.

Do you have any throat spray?

I agree with So Blessed about calling the pharmacist. My pcp sometimes forget that I can't take horse pills but I remind my pharmacist and he either gives me a liquid or a capsule. I hope you feel better soon.
