When i was at that stage, I did chicken breast with a little chicken broth and just threw it in the blender.

No not at all, the broth moistened it up so that I didn't have to worry about it getting stuck,

My instructions were puree to the consistency of stage one baby food.  Any recipe you cook for the family is fine as long as all the ingredients are ok for your plan.

I did the same as Ms Hershey.   A little broth or liquid from cooking in the food processor.   The taste did not thrill me but that was because I hated the texture.   One suggestion I received was to add extra seasoning (not salt) to make it more palletable.

I just remembered a recipe I adopted from one I made regularly before surgery.  For me it was the only thing that tasted right pureed.

Quick & easy shrimp salad, cold or warm:
2 oz cooked shrimp, tail off (about 4 large)
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 oz red onion (or what ever type you have)
Mrs Dash table blend to taste
dash of black pepper
dash of garlic powder
salt to taste

Blend all ingredients in a mini food processor.  Add water a few drops at a time until the consistency of stage one baby food.  Use warm water for a hot meal.
