Took my measurements:

Bust: 45
Chest:38
Waist: 44
Hips: 47
Calves: 27.5
Upper Arm: 15 & Forearm:11

  • Bust: Measure around the chest right at the nipple line, but don't pull the tape too tight.
  • Chest: Measure just under your bust
  • Waist: Measure a half-inch above your belly button or at the smallest part of your waist
  • Hips: Place tape measure around the biggest part of your hips
  • Thighs: Measure around the biggest part of each thigh
  • Calves: Measure around the largest part of each calf
  • Upper arm: Measure around the largest part of each arm above the elbow
  • Forearm: Measure around the largest part of the arm below the elbow.

I did well today. Eating back on track and exercise was better. Did get it done. I think my main issue was focusing on the scale...it really messed me up when I think about it. That's why I threw the weekend away....thinking heyl...I am doing everything right and yet its showing a gain.  My best bet is to focus on my measurements.

I am also going to count the marbles like Lee. This will be a good visual motivator.

I am also going to spend time on the Plastic Surgery Forum to educate myself and increase motivation as well.  Seeing and chatting with others who are at the plastics phase will be good for me.

You've got your head straightened out.  We can never say screw it.  Even when we get it right and still don't loose we must stick with it.

I've started checking out the plastics forum too.  I don't plan on any at the moment but they are inspiring.

Yes...MSW...definitely a case of temporary insanity.  I know the first sign is when I say "F" it.  I am sure right now, the scale is not my friend....so its best to leave it along until the end of each month.

I agree...looking at the Plastic forum is too .

I was put to the test yesterday with going out to dinner and birthday cake.  I did great , I had a antipasto plate and no cake at all.

I was so proud of me.

Thats great Lee! I am proud of you too! I am sure that visualizing your jar was a big help.  I have mine up too. I bought this ugly jar for the fat and this very pretty jar for the losing...this was such a great idea. Keep up the good work!!!

Yep your right I did think of my jars and Becca eating right along with me helped also.    I wish losing weight  was as fun and easy as gaining it.
