First, don't put anything on your wounds untill your surgeon confirms you have healed.  My surgeon's rule was wait 30 days.

Once I had the ok all I used was coco butter.  The plain stick you get anywhere several times a day.  All was great untill I stopped about five months out.  When I stopped the scars darkened.

Still, they're not bad at all.  I really need to go back to the coco butter but even doing nothing for months, the scars are getting lighter.

Do you get keloid scars?  If so a dermatoligist can shrink them with an injection.  Otherwise try coco butter, shea butter,  Mederma.  I am 5 months out and mine have started to fade.  I don't use any particular product, I just rub lotion or baby oil every day.   I think it just takes time.

BTW I will take these 5 little scars over the 105 pounds I've lost in a heartbeat!
