What can you do now after having WLS that you are grateful for?

I was freezing cold at work and went to grab my sweater that I leave at the office and when I put it on.....I could probably wrap it around myself two times. This was my pre-weight loss surgery sweater and it was a size 24..........I am now in a size 14. Not where I would like to be right now but..........surely not where I use to be.

I can shop in the junior's department if I wanted to.  I won't because I don't want to run around looking like someone trying to reclaim her youth.  I'm still going to keep trying stuff on there just for the thrill of it.

Amen to that. When I get a man, he will paint my toes; but for now I can paint my own toes.

I am happy that I, also can comfortably cross my legs....I also, put on, and zipped up a size 20 jeans-no oil or holding my breath...no rolling around and laying on the bed either, LOL. I got them for Christmas from my sister, and they wouldn't even go up past my butt!! Not only do they fit...but I have a little room in them! LOL So proud of myself and all of you!

I'm swapping clothes with my sister and that has NEVER happened in my life. She is 10 yrs. older than I am and we are both 6'3 and she has always been slim. Well she has been giving me her size 12 tall clothes and I've been giving her my size 14-16 tall clothes. It's one of the best feelings in the world. She is 52 and just now started to gain a little weight. People call me her all the time when we're in our home town.   She is a wonderful sister and has never called me names like my other siblings so i hope she doesn't go past a size 16 because that's fine for our height.
