When did you start seeing results no rush just wondering. LOL
Today will be a week that I joined a gym and went six out of seven days. I plan on keep that up until I make it to a maintence weight. Then I go the gym three or four days a week. Anyway how long did it take you to start seeing results from intense workouts. I do ninety minutes of cardio and thirty minutes of weights daily. I mix my routine up so my body does not get use to the same thing. I have been exercising over a year at home. So my body is definitely use to moving just not in so many directions. How long did it take you to workout in the gym before you saw results inches, lbs, etc. Thanks for your time.
It takes two to four weeks for me to see visible results of a major shift in my workout plan. I do not mix it up daily. Although my days are not identicle. the variations are relatively small. Every two weeks or so I make a larger shift in time or intensity or type of workout.
The scale is never my friend because the pounds don't come off well for me. The tape measure is what does it. Over the Summer I went from a twelve to an eight switching from weight machines to dumbells. Over the Fall from an eight to a four by moving to the most intense level of my program and staying there. Clothing in size ten and six were a waste of money as I did not even wear them a month.
Cardiac capacity takes longer for me . However, my resting HR is down in the low sixties and I can work for over an hour at well above the cardio zone for my age. Thats a good indicator of how you're doing, a lower resting heart rate. Can't say how long this took cause I started several years aago. Great for the heart and lungs but no impact on the scale for me. For most people, aerobics burns off the pounds relatively quickly, within a few weeks for some results.
I need to see results again myself so its time for another move to a more intense level. Enjoy those workouts.

Here's a visual for you for what 3 weeks of the stairclimber for 30-40 minutes coupled with some early stage bodybuilding has done for the backside:
There's a little bubble there that hasn't always been there. The definition in my legs is pretty amazing after some short term training, and all the reward I need to keep going back to the gym! Keep up the great work and you'll see those changes in yourself in no time.
