I was out shopping at one of my favorite places yesterday. It's a beauty supply store that I have been going to for the past few years. I hadn't been in the store in a few months because I moved out of the area. I go to pick up a few items and proceed to purchase with my credit card and I have to show ID. The lady almost refused to allow me to purchase because she didn't believe that I was the same person on the ID because of the difference in my weight. It took two other employees and a little bit of a story to make one of them remember me and we all laughed.
So that was my great WOW moment. They all commented on my weight loss and wished me continued success. I skipped out of there not only a little lighter in my wallet but a lot lighter in my spirit.

The question that I am asked most often:
Is that your hair??????
A Phenomenal Woman who doesn't have to Ego Trip to Still Rise: Pretty women often wonder where my secret lies...I am a woman, phenomenally....that's me!!!!!

That's great. i had a similar incident with my passport when I went to Jamaica in November. The customs people did not believe that it was me on mine and I had to show additional info to prove it was. In some ways in made me feel very good in a way and sad also that I had let myself get that big that I was unrecognizable.
