Obesity study shows big bottoms and thighs can be healthy
Beyonce Knowles performs in Budapest, Hungary, in 2009 CAPTION By Imre Foeldi, APExtra padding in the hips, buttocks and thighs is healthy and protects against heart and metabolic problems, according to British researchers.
A study published in this month's International Journal of Obesity says fat in the hips mops up harmful fatty acids and contains an anti-inflammatory agent that stops arteries from clogging, according to the report.
A big backside is better than extra fat around the waistline, and that too little in the hip can lead to serious metabolic problems, the BBC reports.
For example, the report says, waist fat breaks down quicker than fat in the thighs and backside, and that can trigger inflammation in the body.

"It is shape that matters and where the fat gathers," says Dr. Konstantinos Manolopoulos, of Oxford University, the lead researcher, the BBC reports. "Fat around the hips and thighs is good for you but around the tummy is bad."
Or as Britain's non-scientific tabloid Daily Star puts it: "Beyonce will live to a ripe old age."

What if you have a hunk of fat that just sits on your flat ass... does that count for anything???
As for me, I gain it everywhere, butt, hips, thighs, face, arms, ....and my belly... (sniffle, sniffle)
If I loose my but I swear, I'll get a butt implant. I could care less about deflated breasts, I never had a nice rack anyway (hehe).
Thanks for the post; love it!
