European Starlings are the scourge of the bird world!  I love birds, but not those guys.  There are THOUSANDS of them hanging out in the shopping centers near here.  It looks like the Alfred Hitch**** movie scene!  No exaggeration!  They scare away the desirable native birds.

Our town council is considering some sort of action to launch our own war against them.

I remember being stationed at a place called Ft Campbell, Ky and going to war against these birds on the fort...and with all the power of the 101st Airborne Division we couldn't win.  LOL.

I have to get back to my birding. My man friend is so intrigued that a girl from Detroit is so interested in birds and everything green.

Those quizzes kept me on top of my game and i dearly miss those. Tho I do not know they have been ceased, I still miss them nonetheless.
