... I got a pm today asking me for my email address and giving me theirs. I do not know this person. They are not on my friends list. They have no avi.
Per this individual, they found my profile "interesting" and wanted to send me a picture. They also had something to tell me. My reply? I don't correspond by email, the pm function is available for your purpose.
I'm a cynic by nature. This sci fi geek believes in the old X-Files tag line: Trust No One. The message may have been innocent or there may be an angle.
We may have loads of friends on OH, but we are exposed to many stangers. Just a thought.

yep! I hear you - I will tell anyone just about anyTHING on the BL - but VERY few folk on here have any info to contact me IRL. I just don't roll like that.

I received the same msg Saturday night. I didn't know what to do and I looked at it as someone who needed help 
. What I did was I have a garbage email that I give. I check this email once a night to see what's in there. I felt if this person needed my help then I need to be there for them but if it was a prank then I won't have to worry about it.

I keep a few garbage e mail accounts too. Why not, they're free right?
The reason I did not use one is because the message 'smelled wrong' to me. If they really needed help, everything mentioned could have been accomplished in confidence right here on OH.
Moreover, this was a new account with two friends, neither with any pics. Claims status to be "friend of a pre op". One friend claims status as post op, no surgery listed. The other "hoping to have surgery", also no procedure listed. All three accounts were created this week and are blank. The friends have no other friends.
I have no doubt these are all trolls.

OK I was gullible always trying to help. I received a response to my junk email. Glad i checked it here at my work computer because it had my emails going so slow. I was trying to copy to email and paste it here but was moving way to slow.
In short young black girl in her late teens early twenties from Africa in a refugee camp blah blah blah................ and a pic of her and she no way needs surgery. Things like that makes people not want to help others because of the flem flam that's going on.

Well now you know for certain its a troll account and should be reported. I blocked it but made note of the names. Did it include the words phina and onelove by any chance? Also a reference to a yahoo account? I'm going to forward the message to the moderators but I'd like to confirm if ours are from the same troll.
Its a shame that the trolls flurish while Ms RoyalFlyness gets grief over setting up an account to plan a legit M&G.
