KFC Ad

We do chicken right....wrong more like a disservice to the people!

I heard them talking about this ad on the Tom Joyner morning show this morning......its **** up! I mean being realistic....they know dayum good and well that he would need more than one bucket of chicken to calm that routy crowd!

No seriously....it really is ****** up....that they would even be so oblivious to not realize that it was stereotypical and would cause a commotion.  I mean come on ...are they that dense in Australia..to waste time and resources on a commercial that they know would get pulled. I am sure someone is going to get fired...its the marketer business to know and be sensitive to these matters whether they be domestic or international...Australia has a very large tourist industry...it marketing impacts not only native Australian....who might have not been offended. Dumb azzes!

But that IS some bull**** however - there is something to consider regarding the fact that it was running in a different culture than America.  Just like some commericals we run here are offensive to others, I'd imagine.......

But I have to co-sign with MD - totally implausible!!!  One bucket of chicken.... yea right! 

There's no such thing as bad publicity?  Perhaps just gtting in the news is publicity enough.  KFC has been noticed for this thousands of miles away.   The only way to fix this kind of **** is with our $$$.

WOW!! That was bad.  It would be different if it was a crowd of "everyone" but why did it have to be black people?!  KFC has gone crazy! 

Andrea, what's worse is that our people agreed to do the commercial however.....we can't knock them because in this economy they probably were in need of that petty cash.

You think the Australian media would have realized this was a no no due to the uproar over some white guys doing the Jackson five in blackface late last year.
