I CAN RUN, I AM SO HAPPY, DOWN FOR A MONTH, BUT I BEEN HEALED, LOL

I went to my new spine doctor yesterday and he said it is ok that I run as long as I keep up with all my back therapy.
I purchased a inversion table, and a neck flexion device to help with the neck pain and TMJ issues. I got the new cords for my TENS unit in the mail yesterday also.
I can run as long as I do this exercise called Sciatic threading, and these really intense stretching exercises and I start accupuntcure and biofeedback next month. So that's it.
I CAN RUN, I CAN RUN. The damage is pretty bad but my doctor said the last thing I want to do is slow down. So you know me, I hate slowing down so i'm not going to.
Oh I also have to take "Living with Chronic Pain Classes" because I have had back issues for so long and they are trying new natural methods to help people deal with chronic pain. Maybe i'll learn something.
Now I have to see where I go from here, my goal was to transition to outside running, i'm going to try it out this afternoon. If I have to much pain I will try to be really honest with myself and make a decision to just be an indoor runner.
Oh I did get another back shot yesterday, the doc said it will hopefully be the last one.
Oh, I don't have to take the pain pills every single day either, I feel good again. Thank You Jesus.

I had to run for my doctor yesterday and he said my form was good, but there was one time at 8 min that I got a twinge of pain in my back, but I ran through it. He said that it's ok to run through pain, but I can't run through "PAIN." Which is my specialty. LOL.
I have to listen to what my body is telling me.

He said he didn't want me slowing down cause slowing down makes you slow.

I was down for a dam month yall. Shoot I'm gonna have to ease back into this running. A month is a long time.
I'm just happy I feel better now. I thought I was gonna be down for good.

What's wrong with a slow jog? If I run slower I will go further, If I run faster, I do less distance. Make the decision if you want speed or distance.
Personally I would do intervals, you get better results and it makes you a faster runner cause you know you have that min break.
I say just start doing something.
Hooray for you Ms Lee!!! Getting off the pills and on your feet again must feel like another Christmas for you.
