I didn't know where you were going with the "what if" questions because it made me flashback to a date I had when the guy just started rambling what if questions during dinner and then intensely stared at me and grabbed my hand and said "why do people rape people?  what if I raped someone, what would I get from that?"  I got the heck out of there and he finally stopped calling after a month.  Anywhoo, I really enjoyed your message and verse.
